CPCA: China’s vehicle retail sales decline in second week of June

Posted on by admin

Automotive vehicle retail sales in China in the second week of June amounted to 36,600 units, decreasing by 17 percent year on year, while rising by one percent compared to the second week of May and indicating a sharp increase compared to the 25,700 units recorded in the first week of June, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

The CPCA indicated that the comparatively high base of retail sales in June last year contributed to the year-on-year decline in retail sales in the second week of June this year.
