Indian coking coal port import traffic declines by 17 percent in April

Indian coking coal import traffic through all major ports in the country during April 2020 was recorded at 4.28 million mt, a decline of 17 percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to data sourced from Indian Ports Association (IPA).

According to monthly traffic data of all major ports, total iron ore including pellet freight handled by these major ports during April 2020 was recorded at 3.38 million mt, a decline of 11 percent over the corresponding month of the previous year.
